Mowzey Radio, part of Goodlyfe Duo has breathed his last. Radio, real names Moses Nakintije Sekiboggo has spent a week in comma at Case Hospital after suffering a brain damage in a controversial bar brawl at Entebbe. According to reports, Radio got some disagreements with the bar management that eventually led to being hit by the venue bouncer who is still on the run.
Radio, considered to be one of the most talented musicians Uganda has ever had; started out singing around 2004 in Leone Island Crew as Jose Chameleone’s backup singer. While there, he teamed up with Weasel and did songs like Kiluma and Nakudata featuring O.S (Omulangira Ssuuna) before quitting the crew in 2007 to form their own group known as Goodlyfe. This came after some misunderstandings with their then boss Chameleone.
With the Nakudata fame already under their belt, they went ahead to do more hit songs like Zuena, Nyambura, Bread and Butter, among others. This put them among the top artistes in Uganda for the period of last ten years. Their last concert together was the ’10 Years of RAW’ held last at Kyaddondo Rugby Grounds. We will keep you updated about more details regarding his burial arrangements
Rest in Peace Soldier.
