NTV News Anchor Joel Senyonyi was treated to a surprise token of appreciation from the TV’s News Crew as he bid farewell to the station. As he invited a Micheal Musiime to proceed with the Business news segment, little did he know what was awaiting him. With a shocked face, Joel anticipated for his colleague’s next move and the next thing he knew was receiving a surprise cake from his colleagues as they thanked him for the time they spent together and wished him well.

Joel thanked NTV for treating him as family all along. “My journey with NTV begun 5 years ago, and it has been nothing but worthwhile. I’ve grown, gotten better, made friends (and enemies too) in the course of my work. I’ll forever be grateful to my colleagues at NTV, they have been my other family and I’ll always cheer them on”

Joel’s media journey kick started in 2006 at the state owned UBC television before joining the Nation Media. Basing on his message, he looks like he’s done with mainstream media but we are yet to identify his next move.
